i joined flash coffee as one of early product designer. i led the design projects from inception to execution, revamp the consumer app and create pos from scratch.

Previously, Flash Coffee had never had their own product design team, the consumer app for ordering coffee was done by agency designer and never been developed to fit actual usage. Therefore it’s imperfect and have a huge room to make an improvement. 

Our goal as a design team is we focus on designing the best-in-class experience and service for both customers and baristas by bridging the digital and physical divide across multiple touch points. So we aim to create something that helps barista work faster and more efficientcy and for customer to get the seamless experience while using our application and in-store.

Flash Coffee is one of Asia's fastest-growing tech-enabled coffee chains. We aim to democratize high-quality coffee to make it accessible to Asia's rising middle class and serve up an award-winning coffee menu curated by World Barista Champions at affordable prices. We aim to help coffee lovers get coffee with a seamless experience through our Flash Application all the way to pick up their order at one of our iconic yellow storefronts.

Flash Coffee now operates in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea, and is set to expand its footprint across Asia Pacific.
